Terri was born and raised in northwest Oklahoma, where her family has farmed the land and raised livestock since the early 1900s. She grew up on a third-generation family farm near Sharon, and she has lived in Enid since 1986, where she raised three children. Terri formed Long, Claypole and Blakley Law, PLC with Randy Long and Clint Claypole in 2016.

Terri has practiced law in northwest Oklahoma for over 25 years, focusing largely on family law. She has experience in the many aspects of family law, including complex divorces, child custody, adoptions, and guardianships.  In addition to family law, her practice includes estate planning, probates, and general civil litigation.  Terri also has significant experience in appellate work, filing and defending appeals in both the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals and Oklahoma Supreme Court. Her sharp legal writing skills have resulted in several reversals, and her legal arguments have been incorporated into appellate decisions.

As an attorney, Terri cares deeply about her clients, and she always advises them to act in the best interest of their children in matters related to custody and visitation.  Her goal in each family law case is to guide her clients through their unique issues while protecting their interests and to make an inherently difficult situation easier for them. She fully understands the emotional impact of divorce and child custody issues, and she uses her compassion and her legal skills to help her clients transition through a very difficult period of their lives.

Terri earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and her Juris Doctorate with honors, both from the University of Oklahoma.  Terri was admitted to the Oklahoma bar in 1990, and she is currently a member of the Garfield County Bar Association and Oklahoma Bar Association.
